About your photoshoot

I offer photo sessions in the studio or on location - you choose. A studio session is a chance to create some unique images of your dog, a very polished look, perfect for canvases and wall art, and something very special that you'll treasure for years.

Location shoots can take place at your home or garden, at a favourite beauty spot, a local park or beach, wherever you dog is most comfortable. They tend to be more informal, a great opportunity to catch some great action shots or pretty portraits in the best of the natural light.

PREPARATION, PREPARATION, PREPARATION

If we are shooting outside, I'll put in the homework to establish sunrise/sunset times and sun angles, low water times, the likely weather forecast for the day, and all the other relevant details to enable me to work our chosen location to best effect. I'll chat with you before your session to find out about your pet, their likes and dislikes, their foibles and motivators. That way we spend the session capturing your pet at their very best. Difficult dogs are my forte! I always give nervous dogs bags of time to settle. I love hooligans. And I know how to light difficult subjects like black dogs and white ones.

AVAILABILITY

Life sometimes throws a curve ball. If your dog is ill and has limited time left, I'll do my very best to fit you in quickly, to capture your dog and the very special bond between you.

FAMILY PHOTOSHOOTS

Want a shoot for the family AND the pets? or just you and your dog? That's no problem - I offer family photo sessions too, with or without pets. Just ask.
